Market leading UK energy broker working in partnership with suppliers such as Npower, EDF, Scottish Power and Eon. Working closely with SME's ranging from your local corner newsagents and fish and chips shop to large scale manufacturers. We scrutinize current rates and are able to compare and offer cheaper gas and electricity rates.
Firstly, thank you for your interest in our online vacancy. Optional energy has now decided to expand our home-based telesales/appointment maker opportunity. As the job description implies; you will be given the opportunity of beating the rush hour traffic; do your bit for the environment by reducing CO2 emissions and working at your convenience from the comfort of your own home.
Getting to the Nitti gritty now, this is a performance based role and to be blunt would really suit experiences telesales/direct sales individuals, however I am open minded and will consider individuals with determination, the ability to persuade and fire in their soul. Weekly earnings average £180 -£650 F/P Time.
We are an energy broker working in partnership with the UK big six gas and electricity suppliers. This is a B2B role. We supply B2B data (you will need access to email and Microsoft office installed).
Telephone training is given for the right candidates, in the form of a well investigated and fully working sales script. IE you will know what you are talking about. The beauty of this role is you don’t do any of the selling! What we would love from you is to generate that initial interest. This shouldn’t be too difficult as many businesses in the UK are either unhappy with their energy bills or being overcharged.

• Generating leads.
• Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients.
• Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
• Preparing daily weekly and monthly reports.
• Liaising closely with internal company sales force

• Understanding and promoting company programs.

• Maintaining client records.

• GCSE or equivalent.
• Experience in sales.
• Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
• A commitment to excellent customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
• Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Able to work comfortably in a fast paced environment.
