Job description

This role is an exceptional opportunity for a business development manager to join an entrepreneurial environment and make a real difference in scaling a ground-breaking ‘creative as a service’ product proposition.

The ideal candidate will have experience selling to publishers and media networks and may originate from a similar environment, creative sales, SaaS sales or related media sales background.

You will be part of an international team directly under the supervision of the Commercial Director, driving and supporting the international sales and product development of an innovative platform. We work in a very collaborative environment, with a strong cross-functional and Agile culture. You will be collaborating day-to-day with the Creative and Delivery functions, and develop a close working culture with Account Managers and Service Team.

What you’ll be responsible for:

As the Business Development Executive, you will be focusing on opening new client business and striking up long-term creative partnerships with publishers, media networks and mobile advertisers.

You will be targeted and also rewarded on meeting sales goals and client acquisition activities:

Objectives and Key Results needed:

• Work with the commercial director to target and contact global media publishing groups

• Target new clients for meetings, presentations and platform trials, pushing towards our goals.

• Articulate the Adludio Direct CaaS proposition with polish and energy, ensuring clients understand the value of Adludio and our uniqueness in the market.

• Develop, track and report on client prospects on Pipedrive (CRM).

• Report and update the Commercial Director on progress, challenges, feedback and client acquisition data in 1-1’s.

• Demonstrate an energetic approach to meeting sales goals. A desire to be meeting with new prospects and talking everything Adludio is key!

• Embrace cold approaches to new client acquisition (calls, email, social outreach, events) - Linkedin alone won’t cut it!

• Account manage and on-board new clients with care. Attention to detail, keeping promises and client contact are vital. You will ensure the highest standards of client service are maintained.

• Understand the ‘creative as a service’ landscape and it’s nuances.

What we’re looking for in you:

A motivated business development executive with some good initial experience, and ready to take up the challenge that will propel you up to the next level. You will have proven work experience and ideally some relevant contacts in the field.

• Experience selling mobile advertising, SaaS or creative solutions to senior organisations and individuals.

• Knowledge of the Mobile Advertising landscape, technologies and drivers.

• High energy, positivity and desire to develop! You will be keen to progress and grow in seniority within the business development team.

• Great communication skills: We’re looking for an intelligent, consultative seller that can grow great client relationships.

• Confident and articulate. You’ll be happy speaking and presenting in meetings and to senior stakeholders.

• Drive for results: You want to succeed and are self-starting

• Detail Orientated. When it comes to the important stuff, you are vigilant and accurate with your work and client communications.

• Passionate about great creative! You will be selling high-impact creative solutions. A real interest in the field is a must.

• Resilient and thick-skinned. You see business development as a goal to unlocking rewards and career goals.

• Like to play and be part of team. We can only succeed together. You enjoy working with others and cross functional team members .

Knowledge of Microsoft office, Google drive and experience putting together visually enticing presentations in pptx -- or willingness to learn

• Experience selling to Publisher / Media Network organisations
