JOB DESCRIPTION
Birmingham (UK) - New Business Sales Executive (Office Based)

Our client is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Europe’s leading supplier packaging supplies, offering in excess of 53,000 products and equipment, established for over 70 years.

Reporting to the UK Sales Manager, the New Business Sales Executive’s key responsibilities, include, but are not limited to:

Effective sales and service to customers
Efficient and effective time management with clear and transparent call records
Identify and Qualify self-generated new business outbound telesales leads
Achieve minimum 50+ outbound connected new business (cold) calls per day
Organise, despatch and follow up of marketing literature by email and post
Provide quotations and follow up within specified timescales
Convert sales quotations into new business revenue and profit generation
Setting up of relevant customer pricing schedules
Process customers orders and deal with queries
Manage customer revenue and profit expenditure
Associated administration, including new and updated data entry onto company CRM/Back Office system
Provide the very highest level of customer service
Achievement of new business sales & profit targets set by the company
Returns level as a percentage of sales & revenue amount

OBJECTIVES
This is solely a NEW BUSINESS - OUTBOUND TELESALES ROLE in the B2B sector

EXPERIENCE
Skill / Knowledge required for this position:

Professional, target driven, confident, new business individual
With excellent Telephone Sales and Customer Service Skills
With 2 Years (minimum) previous industry related experience in B2B new business sales (product/technical knowledge) an advantage, but not essential.
With 2 years (checkable) successful new business sales track record.
Musty be a solid team player with good people skills and the ability to work in an international group environment
Proficient in written and oral communication skills
Proficient PC skills (MS Office)
Commercially astute with excellent English and Maths analytical capabilities
Key basic attributes of hard work, organisation, planning, focus, determination and resilience are required in abundance to succeed in this exciting but challenging role.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established business, offering a competitive basic salary £23,000 to £25,000 (dependent on experience) plus £6,000 OTE Commission, located in modern offices and a friendly working environment.
