Oxford Cancer Biomarkers in an innovative In Vitro Diagnostic provider. The core product suite of OCB is focussed on precision oncology, particularly for colorectal cancer indications.
We seek a results-driven sales representative to actively seek out and engage business opportunities within the private healthcare market. They will be responsible for managing existing customer accounts and in addition to building a portfolio of new customers across the UK. They will be engaged in the promotion and marketing of the OCB product portfolio to private healthcare providers and insurers as well as individual clinicians operating in private practises. The role will cover the UK mainland however the majority of accounts will be based in and around the South East. It is envisioned that the role will be 4/5th client facing and 1/5th office based in Oxford.

• Present, promote and sell the OCB diagnostic products suite across the assigned territory based on sound technical, scientific and clinical knowledge of the treatment area.

• Establish, develop and maintain key relationships with healthcare providers, insurers and clinicians.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for OCBs product suite

• Develop an in depth knowledge of the procurement/purchasing mechanisms, procedures and schedules within the major private healthcare institutions.

• Expedite the resolution of customer problems/complaints and help uphold OCBs commitments to post market surveillance

• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule

• Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments

• Analyse the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports

• Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.

• Engage with key opinion leaders in the colorectal field

• Run advisory boards and workshops with a view to identifying new market trends and opportunities

• Identify and organise representation at key industry gatherings and conferences

5 yrs sales experience in diagnostics/Healthcare/Pharma

Excellent knowledge of MS Office

Highly motivated and target driven

Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills

Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills

Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs

Ability to communicate scientific, technical and clinical concepts with clarity

Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

BS/BA degree or equivalent
